Family
Stephanie and I started dating our sophomore year of college and we were married just after graduation. We have now been married for nearly four years. She is my support, my encouragment, my brain (I lose things constantly) and the love of my life.
Education
Miami University, B.A. in History
Ministry Experience
I was involved with the ministry of Young Life for eight years. I was a volunteer leader at Fairfield High School for four years and then I came on staff with Young Life as an Area Director here in Middletown. I served in that capacity from 2003 - 2007.
Favorite Books and Authors
In regards to fiction, I would have to say "East of Eden" by Steinbach and the works of Cormac McCarthy.
As for theology, I am a huge fan of John Piper, Tim Keller, Martin Luther, John Calvin and a bunch of other dead guys.
Your vision for The Oaks
I hope and pray that The Oaks will continue to grow as an authentic community where the gospel is proclaimed, Jesus is worshiped, faith is nurtured, hope is cast and the work of redemption is advanced. I pray that we never lose sight of the gospel, and the vast implications that come along with it.
