Sunday Service Teams
Our Sunday service teams are committed to serving the people of The Oaks every Sunday before, during, and after the worship service. There are multiple ways to serve depending on your gifts and desires. Check out the following list for a summary of different service teams to be a part of. Hospitality
The welcome team greets people and helps them to feel welcome on Sunday morning. They are responsible for handing out programs, helping people find a place to park and a place to sit, as well as helping visitors to feel comfortable at The Oaks. If you enjoy helping people feel welcome and invited this is the team for you.
Refreshments
The Refreshments team serves people with a cup of coffee, a doughnut, and a smile in the morning. Members of this team come early before the service in order to serve others with hospitality at The Oaks. This team works with the Welcome team to greet people coming to the worship service and helping them be comfortable and caffeinated!
Connect
The goal of the Connect team is pretty self-explanatory - - to help people get connected at The Oaks. Members of the Connect team are at the Connect Table and roaming around, meeting visitors to The Oaks and helping answer questions about how people can get involved in what is happening within the church.
Set Up
The Set Up team is for those who enjoy being behind the scenes. This team if responsible for setting up the building for a service, keeping the floors and aisles clean, and stocking supplies in the bathrooms and elsewhere. Members of this team come a little early and stay a little late in order to serve those worshipping together.
Bookstore
The Oaks has a bookstore filled with books that are great resources for growing in the gospel and learning more about Jesus and His work of redemption. People on the Bookstore team run the register at the bookstore and help others choose books that would be most beneficial.
Security
We are committed to providing a safe environment for people to worship together on Sunday. The Security team helps to ensure our safety before, during, and after the service.
Production
The Production team runs the sound board, power point slides, and recording during a worship service. This team works hard for the music and preaching to sound it's best. If you are sound savvy, like paying attention to details, or willing to learn the Production team could use your service.
Music
The Music team at The Oaks leads us every Sunday in worshipping Jesus and celebrating the gospel through song. We are blessed to have a number of musicians who use their gifts to lead us in singing and praising God. Childcare
Our children are an extremely valuable part of The Oaks. The Childcare team is committed to caring for our little ones in a safe and clean environment and teaching to them the truths about Jesus and God's love for us. If you are interested in serving in Childcare, please e-mail .
